Passion or Money!??

As most of you know, the Journey of Roora's flavours started when I chose to quit my high paying corporate job to pursue my passion for food! My vision is simple! Delivering high quality home made food bundled with emotions! There are no shortcuts to this, come what may!

In July 2019, when I soft launched the brand on FB, little did I realise I was going to be flooded with so many well wishers and customers who would trust me with their orders for food! More than food, I am blessed to be a mediator of carrying their emotions through my food! 

Daughters who order their parent's favorite food, Daughters in Law who check from me if I could deliver food for their ailing in laws, Sons who message me checking if I could quickly visit their parents and deliver some ready mixes! Most of our orders have been for ailing Senior citizens and many a times, I have sat there talking for some minutes to make them feel good about the entire experience!

There have been days when I deliver the food and message my customers that their parents are doing good. They have recovered from their illness and look healthy. I cant tell you, how much the children who live miles away feel happy about someone personally visiting their parents and getting back to them about their well being!

While I keep taking baby steps, the instant gratification is what keeps me going with this work that I am doing! No matter its a small pack of masala powders or a huge order with multiple items, the commitment with which we deliver orders will be the same!

We are taking smaller steps now to expand but the promise that will always be kept is that it will always be 100 percent Home made in our kitchens with the same amount of commitment and quality with zero preservatives and unconditional love! 

Yes, from high profile meetings by air to carrying packages of food in the Sub urban trains! From Air conditioned cabins to Hot Blazing Kitchens now! Its a choice I made and I love it! Is it Passion or money??? I chose Passion, before its too late!
